EFT is an incredibly gentle and effective healing technique which can be used to address and release physical, mental and emotional issues, including stress, as well as performance issues and limiting beliefs.
It is over 25 years since Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), or Tapping as it is popularly known, came into being. Developed by Gary Craig, it is a simple and profound set of techniques which combines the knowledge and wisdom of Eastern medicine with modern Western psychology. Within a session, we usually talk and we tap on acupressure points on the face and upper body. EFT Tapping has been shown to bring peace and resolution to traumatic events and issues from our past as well as resolving fears, phobias and anxiety.
During an EFT session, we tap lightly with the fingertips on key acupuncture points while focusing on a specific issue. This simple technique releases the energetic blocks that actually cause our physical imbalances and emotional issues. EFT is a pivotal healing tool as it addresses the root cause of the issue thus opening the door for long-lasting healing results and change. It is a gentle, simple, non-invasive and painless technique.
EFT operates on the premise that no matter what part of our life needs improvement there are underlying unresolved emotional issues. Even when an issue is physical or involves chronic pain or a diagnosed condition, emotional stress held in the body can impede the body’s natural healing ability.
The EFT premise includes the understanding that the more we clear unresolved emotional issues the more peace and emotional freedom we will have in our life.
It provides relief at a very deep level and results are usually long-lasting. EFT can work on its own or in a complementary way with other therapies and conventional medical treatment.
